Discover Guizhou: China – Malaysia Cultural Tourism and Audiovisual Exchange Journey Successfully Held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The event was jointly organized by the International Communication Center of Guizhou Radio and Television Station, Anshun Tourism Group Co., Ltd., Mango Media Sdn Bhd and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, with support from the Malaysia Guizhou Chamber of Commerce.
来自马来西亚政府机构、旅游部门、主流媒体、商协会、旅行商、高校、航空企业及在马中资企业等领域的百余位嘉宾和二十余位 KOL 参加活动。现场通过贵州文旅推介、民族歌舞时尚展演及沉浸式体验等多种形式，让贵州的山水风光、民族文化与生活方式更加生动地走进马来西亚公众。More than 100 guests from Malaysian government agencies, tourism authorities, major media outlets, chambers and business associations, tour operators, universities, aviation companies and Chinese companies operating in Malaysia attended the event, together with more than 20 influencers and content creators. Destination presentations, ethnic music, dance and fashion showcases, and immersive experiences gave Malaysian audiences a vivid introduction to Guizhou's landscapes, diverse ethnic cultures and way of life.
贵州广播电视台卫视中心、国际传播中心副主任黄蓓表示，贵州拥有得天独厚的自然风光、丰富多彩的民族文化与深厚的人文底蕴。希望通过 " 马上来贵州 " 系列活动，让更多马来西亚朋友认识贵州、了解贵州，也期待未来有更多马来西亚游客亲自走进贵州，感受贵州的山水、人文与热情。Huang Bei, deputy director of both the Satellite TV Center and the International Communication Center of Guizhou Radio and Television Station, said Guizhou is blessed with remarkable natural scenery, diverse ethnic cultures and a rich cultural heritage. She expressed hope that the Discover Guizhou series would help more Malaysians get to know the province, and that more Malaysian travelers would visit Guizhou in person to experience its landscapes, culture and hospitality.
代表马来西亚通讯部出席活动的雪兰莪州史里肯邦安区州议员王诗棋表示，此次交流之旅通过影像、音乐、舞蹈和时尚展示等多种形式，让贵州的自然风光和人文故事以更贴近马来西亚受众的方式呈现，也为两国媒体机构、内容创作者和文化工作者深化交流创造了更多空间。Wong Siew Ki, Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly for Seri Kembangan, who attended the event on behalf of Malaysia's Ministry of Communications, said the program used film and video, music, dance and fashion showcases to present Guizhou's landscapes and cultural stories in ways that resonate with Malaysian audiences. She added that it had also created more opportunities for media organizations, content creators and cultural professionals from both countries to deepen exchanges.
活动现场，来自贵州省歌舞剧院的演员表演了贵州民族舞蹈《小伙四弦马樱花》，并与马方演员共同呈现歌曲与舞蹈共创节目《对歌对到日落坡》，以音乐和舞蹈开展跨文化交流。Performers from the Guizhou Song and Dance Theatre presented the ethnic dance piece Young Men, Four-Stringed Lutes and Rhododendron Blossoms. They also joined Malaysian performers in a collaborative rendition of the song-and-dance piece Singing in Antiphony Until Sunset, using music and dance to foster cross-cultural exchange.

Their participation made the showcase more engaging and interactive, while giving Malaysian audiences a firsthand look at Miao clothing traditions and the cultural meanings embodied in them.

Hu Jiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Anshun Tourism Group, introduced the city's distinctive appeal, from its cool summer climate, with an average temperature of around 21°C, to natural wonders such as Huangguoshu Waterfall and the water-filled karst caves of Loong Palace; from the 600-year heritage of Tunpu culture to the celebrated local cuisine for which Anshun is widely known. Beyond its natural scenery and cultural heritage, Anshun has developed a comprehensive tourism ecosystem spanning dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment, with the aim of providing visitors with seamless, high-quality travel experiences.
随后，安顺旅游集团首席旅游推荐官沈忱围绕自然风光、民族文化、避暑旅居等多元主题，发布了四条精品旅游线路，并面向与会嘉宾推出专项优惠政策，积极推动两地旅游资源共享与客源互送。Shen Chen, Chief Tourism Ambassador of Anshun Tourism Group, then unveiled four curated itineraries centered on themes including natural scenery, ethnic culture and cool-climate stays. Special travel offers were also introduced for guests at the event, as part of efforts to strengthen tourism cooperation and encourage more travel between Anshun and Malaysia.

Malaysian guest Dato' Joyce Yap Soh Ching said Guizhou had been a real eye-opener, even after her travels to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Its Miao villages, waterfalls and spectacular bridges, she said, made her want to stay longer and explore more. Even older family members who normally avoid spicy food, as well as a four-year-old child, had no trouble enjoying Guizhou ’ s signature sour-and-spicy flavors. "Guizhou is a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime," she said. Malaysian travel and lifestyle influencer Vivienne said she was particularly drawn to the spectacular natural scenery of Huangguoshu Waterfall and felt that taking her parents hiking in Guizhou would also be a wonderful experience. With Malaysia warm throughout the year, she added, Guizhou stands out as an ideal destination for travelers looking to escape the summer heat.

Featuring Guizhou cuisine, tourism displays and interactive experiences, it brought elements of the province's culture into one of Kuala Lumpur ’ s major retail destinations and attracted numerous local residents and visitors. The program helped build interest in the main event while giving more Malaysians an opportunity to discover Guizhou ’ s culture and tourism offerings.
此次在马交流期间，贵州代表团还围绕媒体传播、视听内容及产业合作，与马来西亚通讯部、Astro 中文部、StoreNGo Sdn Bhd、马来西亚炫动传媒控股有限公司等政府、媒体和企业机构开展交流，进一步拓展双方合作空间。
During its visit to Malaysia, the Guizhou delegation also held discussions with Malaysia's Ministry of Communications, Astro's Chinese Business unit, Store N Go Sdn Bhd, Spark Motion Media ( Holding ) Sdn. Bhd., and other government, media and business organizations. The discussions focused on media cooperation, audiovisual content and business partnerships, with both sides exploring further opportunities for collaboration.
